Sick of driving?!  Need a cup of coffee, a cold drink, a meal and a beer? How about a camp site with a hot shower? Dinner in the beer garden, yarns around the log fire? A warm bed or a nice hot dinner in the licensed dining room. A cooked breakfast will give you a good start in the morning. We offer all you may need or want. Basic but comfortable accommodation is available in rooms or safari tents with all bedding provided. Camp riverside at Miners Pool or choose the Homestead Camp with bathroom and laundry facilities. No matter where you choose to lay your head the restaurant and bar are open to all. It is advisable to book ahead for dinner to avoid disappointment. We will do our best to fit you in even if it is a last minute request but some nights we are simply unable to do so without a prior booking.

Ever heard of a Kimberley Beef Burger, that's KBB for short. Better make sure you try one when here with us because every year they are the talk of the road. We were the first place along the entire Gibb River or Kalumburu Road to offer hamburgers.
We don't need to say our KBB's are famous, their reputation speaks for them.
Available 11 am to 2.00 pm daily.

If you don't fancy a burger our short order board also offers lots of other choices from pies & chips to fresh made sandwiches.

Our small general store is open from approximately April to October (hours are:  8 am  to  5 pm,  7 days).
A range of basic tinned and dry food staples, plus those little luxuries of cold drinks, chocolates, biscuits etc. We normally carry frozen bread, ice, cheese,  margarine & eggs, plus an assortment of frozen meat packs.
Diesel and Unleaded fuel on bowsers. This is your last fuel stop if traveling to the Mitchell Plateau.

Our workshop offers mechanical, welding and tyre repairs. We carry a range of common new tyres, tubes and batteries, springs and shock absorbers. If you plan to travel further north the road may be unsuitable for your camper van or trailer. If you wish to leave it here, we offer a free caretaking service (with the proviso; "all care, no responsibility" ).

Our popular coin phone, which resides in a fridge, is available for your use.

For those with their own air transport, our fully fenced 1380 meter strip is only 1.5 km from the homestead ( it can be seen on Google Earth™ at [ 15°42'43.50"S - 126°22'51.52"E ]. Passenger pick up at the airstrip is available. Use of the airstrip and purchase of DRUMS of Av Gas and Jet A1 is available but must be by prior arrangement.

Bookings for scenic flights can be made at the shop or in advance by phone. One advantage in booking a few days in advance is that it allows us to know when and how many people wish to fly and then to fill the plane we can sell any other vacant seats. Seats are priced on a sliding scale; more seats taken means lower seat prices.
