Scenic Flights

Flights depart daily. Approx. May to September.

For the past 15 years during each dry season from approximately May to September, there has been a plane based at Drysdale River Station offering unforgettable flights. Prices for 2008 start from only $275 per adult seat, and children are at a reduced rate.

Prince Regent & Mitchell Plateau:

This flight takes you past Mt Hann, Deep Gorge and the Rift, then over the magnificent Prince Regent Nature Reserve. Follow the Prince Regent River, fly over unnamed waterfalls, King Cascades, St George Basin, Mt Trafalgar, Prince Frederick Harbour, the Hunter River, Donkins Hill Falls and the spectacular Mitchell Falls.

The vast beautiful unspoilt coastline of the wilderness nature reserve is always a heart winner. You may even be lucky enough see crocodiles, dugong and whales. Duration approx. 2 hours. Seat price reduces with numbers of seats used , if you advance book we will do our best to get the best possible price by filling the plane. You are not committed to fly if we do not manage to book others, therefore allowing a reduced seat price for all.
